Disclosure (Post-Delivery): After delivery/pickup, Buyers may bring the trailer back to resolve a verified problem (repair, correction, replacement parts, or replacement trailer when applicable). This is not a money-back return.

Refunds: Refunds apply only to qualifying cancellations before delivery/pickup as described below.

Service Resolution — Post-Delivery / Post-Pickup

65-Day Service Resolution Window Repairs/Replacement Only

The 65-day period starts on the date of delivery or pickup.

Inspection at Delivery / Pickup (Required)

All trailers must be inspected in person at the time of delivery or pickup. Any visible defects, transportation damage, or missing components that could be identified during inspection must be reported immediately.

What’s Covered Within 65 Days

  • Non-visible manufacturing defects discovered after delivery/pickup
  • Verified functional issues caused by manufacturing (as confirmed by the manufacturer or our service department)

Not Covered (No Cash Refunds)

  • Minor cosmetic defects
  • Transportation-related damage that was visible/identifiable at inspection
  • Issues visible and reasonably identifiable during inspection
  • Missing features/accessories not listed in the original quote or invoice
  • Misunderstandings or assumptions regarding unquoted options

Service Method & Costs

  • Service is handled by appointment at our location (or as otherwise approved in writing).
  • Buyers are responsible for transportation to/from our location unless otherwise approved in writing.

How to Request Service

Email sales@makemytrailer.com with your invoice number and clear photos/videos of the issue. If it qualifies, you’ll receive next steps for scheduling and resolution.

Refunds — Pre-Delivery / Pre-Pickup

Stock Units (Cancellation Terms)

  • If a stock unit is canceled within 14 days of the purchase date (after payment clears), a 50% refund will be issued.
  • No refunds will be issued after 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • Once the trailer is delivered/picked up and accepted, the sale is final (see Service Resolution section above).

Custom Trailers (Built-to-Order)

  • All trailers (except stock units) are built to order based on the Buyer’s specifications.
  • If manufacturing has not started, a full refund will be issued (including any deposit).
  • Once manufacturing has begun, no refunds will be issued and any deposit becomes non-refundable.

PayPal & Deposit Payments

  • For qualifying stock unit cancellations within 14 days: 50% refund back to the original payment method.
  • For custom orders: refunds apply only if production has not started; deposits are non-refundable once production begins.
  • Please allow 5–7 business days for approved refunds to process back to the original payment method.
